G-Plan

Lynplan has been making Tailored Covers and Re-Upholstering G-Plan furniture for decades. 

Some of their models produced in the 60’s 70’s and 80’s are truly unique – much treasured, and we still supply Covers and Re-Upholster them in considerable numbers today. 

More recent models produced since the closure of their factory in High Wycombe are also a significant part of the work we do.  

Identifying G-Plan Models:  As G-Plan furniture does not usually carry a model number or name on the furniture itself we publish this identification guide so that you can find out which model you have.   

Fabric Samples, Information and Prices through the Post:  When you request details for G-Plan furniture Tailored Covers or Re-Upholstery you will receive the Identification Guide along with a full listing of models giving prices for Covers and Cushion Interiors.  You will also receive our brochure where you can see examples of the fabrics made up, and get more information on how we make Tailored Covers or Re-Upholster your furniture. 

You will also receive a range of fabric samples suitable for Covers or Re-Upholstery of your G-Plan furniture.

Other Information on G-Plan furniture: On many older models G-Plan used the unique Pirelli rubber platform suspension system.  Although we purchased all the stock of these platforms we could when Pirelli stopped making them, unfortunately the supply is now exhausted. 

We have developed an alternate springing system which performs just as well as the original which we are able to fit when re-upholstering the furniture, but this is not something which can be supplied for fitting at home.
